Cookie Policy
The cookies and trackers used on the Agent Cat marketing site — their purpose, data, retention, and how to opt out.
1. Cookies and Trackers
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. The Company uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, etc.) to measure site flow and performance and to analyze marketing effectiveness. This Policy applies to the agentcat.app marketing and data pages; data processing in the macOS app is covered by the Privacy Policy.
2. Strictly Necessary Items
- Language preference (localStorage: ac_lang) — a first-party item that remembers your chosen display language (ko/en/ja/zh); not used for tracking.
- Sign-in session cookies (HttpOnly) — when you are signed in to Agent Cat Pro, used to keep you signed in and for CSRF protection (see Privacy Policy 2.3).
3. Analytics and Advertising Trackers
| Provider | Purpose | Data processed | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta/Facebook pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) |
Advertising and conversion measurement, marketing analytics | Page views, conversion events, cookie-based identifiers, browser/device info, IP address | Per Meta's policy |
| Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc.) |
Core visitor measurement | Aggregated metrics such as page views, referrer, device/browser type (does not use cookies for personal identification) | Per Vercel's policy |
| Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.) |
First-party performance measurement (Core Web Vitals) | Page load and rendering performance metrics | Per Vercel's policy |
| agentcat-telemetry web funnel (operated by the Company) |
First-party visit-flow and exit measurement | Anonymous funnel metrics such as visited pages, section views/dwell, and exit events | Per the Privacy Policy |
The Company does not sell advertising profiles built from data collected through these trackers. For overall data processing, see the Privacy Policy.
4. How to Opt Out and Manage
- Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may limit some features.
- Meta ad settings — manage personalized ads in the ad preferences of your Meta account.
- Do Not Track and ad-blocking extensions — you can block trackers with your browser's tracking-prevention features or content-blocking extensions.
5. Your Consent & Tracking Choices
Vercel Web Analytics, our core visitor measurement, runs on page load for service operation statistics. Advertising measurement and additional analytics trackers, including the Meta pixel, Vercel Speed Insights, and our first-party web funnel, load only after you choose “Accept” on the consent banner shown on your first visit. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as an opt-out for the additional trackers automatically. You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer, and selecting “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” stops the advertising trackers.
6. Changes
This Policy applies from its effective date. If the trackers we use or applicable law change, we will announce it on this page.
