OpenAI Codex
A Codex quota monitor that does not need another tab
Codex work is quiet until the 5-hour or 7-day window closes. Agent Cat puts remaining quota, reset time, and live activity next to the clock.
The problem
People open Claude more, then go deep with Codex. The usage page is easy to miss while an agent is writing. If you also run Claude Code, you now have two quota clocks and no shared view.
- How much of the rolling 5-hour window is left?
- When does the 7-day quota reset?
- Which folder spent the tokens?
What Agent Cat shows
- Codex CLI run state in the menu bar or Windows tray
- Remaining quota when Codex exposes it through local auth
- Estimated cost by model, with cache hit rate when available
- Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Grok, and Kimi beside Codex
